This has been my traditional Christmas morning breakfast for as long as I can remember. I like to have the bunt pan out as well as a sauce pan and cinnamon and sugar mixed the night before for a little help on Christmas morning.
Sticky, gooey, cinnamon-y (is that a word?) The ultimate treat breakfast and our Christmas morning meal. Prep sugar and cinnamon mixtures ahead of time to save some time!
Combine sugar and cinnamon. You can use a bowl or a zip top bag. Roll bisuits in sugar and cinnamon mix. Either in a bowl or add to bag and shake several biscuits at a time. Layer half biscuits in buttered bunt pan.
Combine butter, cinnamon and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a rolling boil. Pour half mixture over half of the biscuits in bunt pan.
Continue coating biscuits in sugar and cinnamon. Layer remaining biscuits in bunt pan.
Pour remaining butter, sugar, cinnamon mixture over biscuits.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Let stand in pan for 5 minutes. Turn over on plate and enjoy!
