I love chocolate. I should add it to my list of things I love but I’m working on the no sugar thing. Yeah, I know I can eat the stuff with different sweeteners or a really dark one but I’m fine to just keep the sugar stuff for special occasions. I love hot chocolate and so do my boys. This method (more of a method than a recipe) is by far my favorite for it’s simplicity and taste. I especially enjoy the froth of milk at the top. Go grab yourself milk, the best chocolate chips you have in your pantry and your French press.

Heat milk on the stove over low heat to hot but not boiling.

While your milk warms, put chocolate chips into your French press.

When the milk is hot, not boiling, pour over the chocolate chips.
Let this sit for 1-2 minutes to melt the chocolate.
Put cover on French press and plunge the press up and down to blend the chocolate and froth milk. Look at that color change as the chocolate incorporates, yum!

Pour into mugs, go get a book or a movie and enjoy with your loves! This hot chocolate pairs deliciously on a snowy day with my Darn Good Cookies. Go make up a batch and enjoy with your loves!
