Do you enjoy hummus with crackers or carrot sticks? How about in a sandwich but hate the price tag on store bought hummus? This quick, non-recipe, for homemade hummus is a my go to when I want to change up our typical lunch routine.

Drain chick peas.

Add tahini, garlic, salt and EVOO. I love this little tube to peel garlic. Just pop the clove in it and use the palm of your hand to roll it on your board back and forth a couple of times.

Blend until smooth, adding warm water until your desired thickness is reached. Stare down the blender like my little guy if you really want to blend well.

Add salt to taste, pour into container and store in refrigerator. Enjoy with cut veggies, as a spread on sandwiches or wraps,
