Read here to learn the basics of a Pantry Challenge. Here are my past updates: Pantry Challenge Update, Pantry Challenge Mid Month Update.

Well, reality is hitting folks. There is not much left in the house but that’s the entire point of this Pantry Challenge. I’m using up all the little bits of things in the pantry as in zero rice, zero cereal, zero crackers, pretzels or nuts. As of this afternoon I also ran out of eggs, milk, and all cheese. We are making it happen and really saving money so it’s feeling great to be fully committed to the challenge. I also realized that the last time we did a pantry challenge we had two less kids. My goal of $100 was way too low. I feel a bit bad with how far off I was but all in all we are saving money and reducing wasted food so I’ll still call it a win.
