Stutzmans Farm Stand and Brick Oven Cafe- Maine Spotlight

Two years ago Mister and I enjoyed a hike up Borestone Mountain (Read about our day here) and enjoyed our first visit to Stutzman’s Farm Stand and Cafe It was a great spot especially after a hike. We recently went again and had a wonderful time and meal.

The buffet included delicious brick oven pizza with a solid variety of combinations for toppings. Apple, bacon and onion pizza, spinach, tomato and feta, classic margherita , pepperoni, chicken enchilada to name a few. Soups included a delicious chowder on the day we visited. A beautiful salad of the farms fresh veggies with their house made dressings. A full line up of beverages with lemon water, iced tea and coffee paired up with the dessert offerings.

Raspberry and Rhubarb crisp, pumpkin sheet cake, chocolate sheet cake and no bake cookies. Seating is offered outside and the evening we went it was prime. We enjoyed the evening sun and the chickens as they scurried around their run.

After I had eaten plenty and justified it because I had salad and it was all local produce we stopped in at the farm stand.  We picked up corn, zucchini, beets, and cucumbers. They displayed some early squash and also offered local jams and honey as well as baked goods.

This fall would be a fantastic time to take a drive to Sangerville and enjoy the foliage. Stop for lunch and grab fresh produce to enjoy. Find Stutzmans on Facebook for more info.

Thanks for stopping by, if you get to Sangerville, drop a comment below and tell us about your visit!
