Located in Waterville, Maine this locally owned grocery liquidation store. Caswells offers everything from snack foods, baking goods, dairy products, paper goods, and so much more! This is the kind of store that you never know what you are going to find. I really love that this gem of a store is clean, organized and the staff is super friendly. The most common items I take home are granola bars, pasta, frozen vegetables, crackers, coffee and candy for my little shopping helpers.
I do not buy exclusively organic food for our home but Caswells often allows me to purchase organic items at a much lower price than the grocery store. As with any budget friendly shopping, know your prices and beware to not go crazy on items that ‘kinda look good’ and have a low price. Any food you buy, no matter the cost, is not a frugal choice if you end up throwing it away.
