Chocolate, peanut butter and oats come together in a cookie you can make without heating up the oven. A classic Maine cookie and one your family is sure to enjoy!
On medium/low heat, combine butter, sugar, milk and cocoa.
Bring to a gentle boil for about 30 seconds. Turn off heat.
Add vanilla and peanut butter. Stir until smooth.
Add oats, stir to combine.
Scoop onto parchment paper. Chill in fridge for 1 hour or freezer for 20-30 minutes or until set. Enjoy!
*I have made this recipe by subbing some of the butter for coconut oil and they were yummy.

I loooooove these! Growing up, we called these “Preacher cookies” because they said that if you saw the preacher coming down your drive way you’d have time to whip up a batch by the time he arrived 🙂

Yum! I love no bake cookies – and with summer coming, anything that doesn’t require the oven is a go! I’ve also never though to try them with some coconut oil – sounds good, though!
