Diced Apple Bread

Care to read about my minimalist cookbook collection? Take a look at Cookbooks I Use and Love.

This recipe is straight from one of my favorite cookbooks, Cooking Down East by Marjorie Standish. This is classic in it’s method and flavors and a great way to use up some apples from apple picking. This could be made into muffins, can be doubled, and freezes wonderfully.
